SUNRISE: Clouds, breezes could spell relief from heat this afternoon
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A reprieve from the heat may be in sight. Cloudy and breezy weather should bring in isolated thundershowers after noon, and slightly cooler temperatures for the rest of the week, predicts the National Weather Service.
Today's high, however, should near 92 degrees.
CHANGE OF COMMAND
Colorado Springs' Cadet Wing Squadron changes command tonight at 6:30, with a ceremony to follow at 7p.m. in Peterson Club's main ballroom. Captain David Rice will turn over the reins of the squadron, part of the Civil Air Patrol, to Lt. Col. Jeffrey Mueller.
