Warren's Film Pick

“Oleanna” (1994) — Possibly the most Mamet of David Mamet’s films, “Oleanna” is a seemingly simple two-person drama about a pompous teacher (William H. Macy) and a frustrated student (Debra Eisenstadt) who accuses him of sexual harassment. Not only does the movie deconstruct the teacher-student relationship in interesting ways, it also creates a fascinating study about how people can talk and talk and talk and never really connect.
