The Nintendo DS is one of gaming’s most innovative platforms, and now it has one of the industry’s most creative titles. Players help rooster-hat-wearing Maxwell capture coveted Starites by completing puzzles using the world’s coolest notepad. Type a word in the notepad and it magically appears to help you complete a level. Gamers are limited only by their imagination and vocabulary (I highly recommend jotting down Time Machine and Your Mom and seeing what happens). With more than 200 levels, in-game currency that lets you buy new puzzles, music, avatar clothing, and a level editor that can be shared online, “Scribblenauts” is packed with inventive content for gamers of any age.
