THE GAZETTE

Colorado Springs police officers are looking for a man who attacked a female jogger Tuesday morning. About 7 a.m. a woman was jogging near the intersection of Eastmeadow Drive and Canoe Creek Drive in southwestern Colorado Springs and a man began to jog behind her. The woman stopped to let the man pass but he grabbed her from behind in a bear hug position. She had her headphones on and could not hear what he was trying to say. She started to scream and broke his grasp and he ran away.

Harrison school district closer to pay for performance for teachers
Should teacher pay be based on performance?
Yes. Teachers should be rewarded for good work, and poor performers should be weeded out.
No. Pay for performance is just a back-door way of blaming teachers for other problems in the education system.
It depends on what "performance" means. It's good if there's a fair measurement of performance.
Undecided.
