Police investigating infant's injury

Colorado Springs police are investigating the injury of a 5-week-old infant who was brought to Memorial Hospital shortly after midnight Tuesday with a fractured skull.

The parents told police that the father was carrying the baby in an unsecured infant carrier when he fell going down the stairs. The baby, they said, fell from the carrier.
