Missing man's car found at campsite

THE GAZETTE

The search for a missing 41-year-old Colorado Springs man intensified Sunday after a Forest Service official noticed his car hadn't moved from a Mount Herman campsite for two weeks.

About 15 El Paso County Search and Rescue workers scoured more than a half-mile radius around the campsite just west of Monument using two dog teams, said Skee Hipszky, search and rescue operations director.

Charles R. "Rich" Harper was last seen on June 8 at a Sunday church service in Black Forest, and on June 11 he e-mailed a sister. He hasn't been heard from since.

Hipszky said the search was suspended about 2 p.m.

Ted Haggard is starting new church at his Colorado Springs home.
What's your view?
Good for him. If God has called Haggard to return to ministry, he should obey.
Haggard should stay out of the ministry. He has too much baggage to lead a church.
I don't care what Haggard does, and I'm sick of hearing about him in the news.
Haggard and anyone crazy enough to attend his church deserve each other.
Haggard has a lot to offer as a pastor. Let's give him a chance.
