Readers have a problem with potholes

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

THE GAZETTE

Earlier this week we posted a story about potholes. We said that winter had been kind to the city's streets, with only 5,110 potholes fixed from January through March 14, according to Peg Richardson, city construction maintenance support manager.

We asked you to fill us in on potholes in your paths, and got more than 60 responses. Most of you hadn't reported them to the city, so we passed on the information for you. Tell us if you see any improvements in the coming days by adding a Comment, or continue to add problem spots to our questionnaire. And until the city can get to them, use our Google map to see spots you may want to avoid.

You told us about the city's worst potholes, now see them all on a map. Haven't filled out the form yet? Don't worry, we'll keep updating:

Harrison school district closer to pay for performance for teachers
Should teacher pay be based on performance?
Yes. Teachers should be rewarded for good work, and poor performers should be weeded out.
No. Pay for performance is just a back-door way of blaming teachers for other problems in the education system.
It depends on what "performance" means. It's good if there's a fair measurement of performance.
Undecided.
