Clerk stabbed in liquor store robbery

A clerk at a liquor store was stabbed in a robbery attempt Tuesday evening near Austin Bluffs Parkway and Academy Boulevard, Colorado Springs police said. The extent of the man’s injuries were not known.
The robbery attempt occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at 3609 Austin Bluffs Parkway.
Seven minutes later, a drug store half a mile away at 3480 N. Academy Blvd., was also robbed, although police said it’s not clear if the robberies were related.
No arrests have been made so far.
