THE GAZETTE

An evening storm on Monday pounded some parts of the county with hail. People who report to the Colorado’s Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network reported grape-size hail in northeastern parts of the county.

About 5 p.m., about ½-inch diameter hail was reported in Gleneagle. About 7 p.m. in Black Forest, pea-size hail was reported.

Today in Colorado Springs, the high is expected to be 82 degrees and there’s a 20 percent chance of rain this afternoon.
