Armed robber gets pizzas, cash

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

A robber snatched cash and two pizzas from a Pizza Hut delivery driver late Sunday after pointing a gun at the driver, Colorado Springs police said.

The robbery happened about 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Yampa Street, police said.

When there was no answer at the apartment where the driver was supposed to deliver the pizza, the driver went back to his car, police said. That’s where the robber confronted him, pulled a gun and demanded money, escaping with the pizzas and an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The robber wore a white bandana over his face, police said. The driver wasn’t injured.

Harrison school district closer to pay for performance for teachers
Should teacher pay be based on performance?
Yes. Teachers should be rewarded for good work, and poor performers should be weeded out.
No. Pay for performance is just a back-door way of blaming teachers for other problems in the education system.
It depends on what "performance" means. It's good if there's a fair measurement of performance.
Undecided.
