Four armed men enter apartment, demand drugs, money

Four armed intruders, including one wielding two handguns, broke into an apartment in central Colorado Springs early Wednesday morning, demanding drugs and money from the residents.

The  robbery took place at about 1:30 a.m. at the El Vecino Apartments located at 1810 Monterey Road, according to police reports.

Two of the robbers ransacked the apartment looking for narcotics. When none were found, other property was taken. Then the foursome departed in an unknown direction.

The men wore dark clothing and have not yet been identified. No one was injured during the incident.
