THE GAZETTE

Police are investigating an 11-year-old boy's report that he was abducted from his home in the middle of the day Thursday.

The boy said two men he didn't know came into his north-central Colorado Springs house about 1:40 p.m. Thursday, taking him and driving away in a car, according to a police report.

The boy said he jumped out of the car at a stop sign and ran to a neighbor's house. The boy was uninjured.

Police are looking for a black, 4-door Honda Accord. The men are described as a white man with black hair in his 30s, 5-foot-7-inches tall, heavy set, who was wearing a light blue shirt, and a Hispanic man with thin brown hair in his 20s, 5-foot-6-inches tall, wearing a gray shirt, a zip-up hoodie and blue jeans.

The Colorado Springs Police Department's Crimes Against Children Unit is assisting in the investigation.
