Heroin found in arrest at Union and Palmer Park boulevards

Five men were arrested in a heroin bust Tuesday morning near Union and Palmer Park boulevards.

Police watching the area near Highway 115 and Star Ranch Road saw a man described as a known heroin user get into a black Ford Bronco with two other men. Police followed the vehicle to Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard, where it stopped and a fourth man got in.

Police continued to follow the Bronco to a neighborhood near Union and Palmer Park boulevards, where it was met by a gold Nissan Altima.

SWAT officers then arrested the four men in the Bronco, finding $100 worth of tar heroin. The driver of the Altima was arrested with 17 additional balloons of heroin, police said.
