SUNRISE: Today's high temperature should break freezing point
Expect a high near 33 degrees and mostly sunny skies today, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
The expected temperature is about double Thursday's high of 16 degrees, but still way off the normal high
of 43 degrees for today.
For drivers headed to Pueblo, the Colorado Department of Transportation reports high wind on Interstate 25. I-25 is otherwise reported dry, but U.S. Highway 24 is icy and snow-packed in spots between Colorado Springs and Woodland Park, the transportation department says.
