Stratmoor Hills Elementary students displaced by water outage

Students at Stratmoor Hills Elementary School in Harrison School District 2 are temporarily being relocated to Fox Meadow Middle School because of a water outage. They'll return to Stratmoor Hills, either when water is restored or at 3:10 p.m. for normal dismissal.

D-2 spokeswoman Jennifer Sprague said that Stratmoor Hills Water Department workers are trying to fix a water leak in the streeet by the school and had to shut off the water. The school's 258 students were bused to Fox Meadow, which is about a mile away.
