Girl Scouts set up mall cookie shop

THE GAZETTE

Girls Scouts across Colorado this weekend start selling cookies in front of stores, libraries and other spots. And in Colorado Springs, cookie fans can also get their fix at the Chapel Hills Mall.

Local Girl Scout Troops will staff a Cookie Store inside the mall, 1710 Briargate Blvd., near the lower level food court, east of Dick's Sporting Goods.

Booth sales kicked off Friday and go through March 4. The mall cookie hours are: 4 p.m.-9 p.m. Mondays-Fridays; 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturdays; and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays. Since there schools are closed Feb. 20 for Presidents Day, the scouts will be selling cookies 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. that day.
