Man grazed with bullets after bar shooting

The Gazette

A man was grazed by bullets in his forehead and arm after a shooting at a bar east of downtown Sunday night.

According to Colorado Springs police, the shooting happened about 8:35 p.m. at the Irish House IV Bar and Lounge, 2001 E. Platte Ave. Police say that armed men wearing bandanas over their faces entered the bar and fired two shots. Both shots hit the same man but he was not seriously injured, said Sgt. Scott Schwall.

Schwall said the shooting may have been connected to an earlier fight at the bar between two women. After that fight, one person went to the emergency room with injuries of being hit by a beer bottle, he said.

Police had not arrested anyone for the shooting as of Sunday night.
