Motorcyclist dies in crash

A 29-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene of a crash Friday night in northern Colorado Springs.
Colorado Springs Police said the man, whose name was not released Saturday, was driving a 1999 Honda motorcycle at a high rate of speed on Powers Boulevard near Highway 83 when he lost control and left the road.
Police said the man, who was not wearing a helmet, died of head injuries. Police said he was riding with another motorcyclist who was not injured.
