Restaurant operation brought down in drug sting

THE GAZETTE

A recent police operation to stop the activities of a street gang was based, in part, on a drug ring run out of a southern Colorado Springs chicken restaurant.

Colorado Springs police, with the help of other law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, arrested two men in connection with the ring and seized $33,000 worth of powder and crack cocaine and $21,000 in cash. Police are searching for eight other suspects.

According to the arrest affidavits of Gabriel Holguin Fierro and Jose Luis Holguin Fierro - brothers who were arrested in the sting - the drugs they supplied filtered down to Troy Sago, a member of the Gangster Disciples street gang. Sago then allegedly sold the drugs out of his business, The Chicken Shack, 3039 Jet Wing Drive, to people who pretended to be customers.

According to the affidavit, police believe that the Holguin Fierro brothers are the source of the drug-trafficking network that filtered through several people.

The brothers were arrested as part of a sting on June 15. The three-month operation had a confidential source who gave valuable information to officers, including the cell phone numbers of drug suppliers. Officers were able to intercept the calls made to those cell phones and used the information to make the arrests. Police intercepted calls about when and where the Holguin Fierro brothers were selling drugs and allegedly caught them in the act.

What's your view?
Good for him. If God has called Haggard to return to ministry, he should obey.
Haggard should stay out of the ministry. He has too much baggage to lead a church.
I don't care what Haggard does, and I'm sick of hearing about him in the news.
Haggard and anyone crazy enough to attend his church deserve each other.
