Southbound I-25 reopened after semi-trailer rollover

THE GAZETTE

Southbound lanes of Interstate 25 at Cimarron Street reopened around 10:45 p.m. Saturday after a 18-wheel tractor-trailer rolled over, spilling its load of lumber, according to Colorado Springs police.

The driver had minor injuries. Although winds were gusting up to 40 mph throughout the day, wind was not considered a factor in the rollover, police said.

The interstate was closed to southbound traffic at Bijou Street. Drivers traveling southbound had to exit the highway at Cimarron Street, and travel down Nevada Avenue to re-connect with I-25.
