Grants help kids with special needs

The CarMax Foundation has awarded grants to two local organizations as part of its regional giving program.
Special Kids Special Families will receive $10,000 for a program that enables special-needs youth to improve their community and build basic life skills.
The Resource Exchange will receive $5,000 to enhance educational opportunities for children with severe autism and other behavioral disabilities.
The foundation funds programs where CarMax employees live and work.
