Mental health forum tonight

Mental health is the topic of a candidate forum scheduled for 6 to 8 tonight in Colorado Springs. The co-sponsors - the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, Mental Health America, the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the Suicide Prevention Partnership - said Wednesday that candidates expected to attend include Republican El Paso County Commissioner Sallie Clark; Democratic commissioner candidate Allison Hunter; Democratic congressional candidate Hal Bidlack; Democratic state Senate candidates Diane Whitley and Pete Lee; Republican state Rep. Larry Liston; Democratic state House candidates Chyrese Exline, Michelle Maksimowicz, Jan Hejtmanek and Anna Lord; and Republican state House candidate Katherine Szot.

The forum, moderated by Channel 13 anchor/reporter Eric Singer, will be at First Presbyterian Church, 105 N. Weber Street. The public is invited. For information: 719-477-1515 or 719-633-4601 ext.199.
