Bears-Broncos: Three things we looked for

A week after Seattle’s Matt Hasselbeck had a good game against Denver’s first-team defense, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler had a nice game – a nightmare for Broncos fans who came to boo him. Cutler completed 15-of-21 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown. The Broncos starting defense still has not forced a turnover.
2. It's better to receive
Without receivers Brandon Marshall and Jabar Gaffney, Eddie Royal was clearly the top target for Kyle Orton. Royal was targeted six times in the first half and caught five of them for 44 yards. The rest of the wideouts combined had two targets, two catches and 16 yards.
3. Time to impress fans
Kyle Orton didn’t look great, but was solid in his home debut. He completed 12-of-16 passes for just 96 yards, but didn’t throw any interceptions. He also didn’t lead any touchdown drives. Orton left the game in the second quarter with a bad cut on his right index finger.
