Springs Utilities ranked 10th in nation for customer satisfaction

Colorado Springs Utilities has been ranked 10th in the nation for customer satisfaction with their electricity providers.

J.D. Power and Associates surveyed customers of the 121 largest electric utilities about power quality and reliability, price, billing and payment; corporate citizenship and communications and customer service. On a 1,000-point scale, Colorado Springs scored 676, compared to the national average of 618.

Utilities ranked third among medium sized utilities in the West.

“This is a tremendous accomplishment” said Utilities CEO Jerry Forte said in a news release.  “Even in such a challenging economic climate, we’re committed to continuing to provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction.”
