Global warming nonsense

I’m going to miss the comics when The Gazette finally goes out of business, but not much else. Seth Borenstein, notorious for his hysterical claims about global warming, belongs — at best — as a footnote on the opinion page. I can’t believe you reprinted his AP story as real news under a front page headline (Gazette, Nov, 23). It’s little wonder newspapers are losing readership to other information sources.

Global warming hype

It is regrettable that your editors would pick Borenstein’s AP story on “Global Warming” for your Nov. 23 Headline story, since the whole concept of global warming has long been debunked by real scientists. United Nations scientists have been forced by the evidence to admit that CO 2 emissions have far less effect on climate than natural forces like La Nina. We have had global cooling since 1998. Last year China had its heaviest snowfall in 100 years and there was record snowfall in NE America. Thus the World Meteorological Organization agreed that we were having global cooling.

Instead of repeating the old lies of the political left, the Gazette should concentrate on reporting the truth. Anyone with a grain of common sense can tell that The Gazette is setting up its readers to accept Cap and Trade legislation which is a bad deal for everyone except Al Gore.

Political warming nonsense

Your Nov. 23 “global warming” headline is another indicator of why print media is losing ground in readers and advertisers. There has been plenty of evidence from other media contradicting this theory including the hacking of the British “scientific?” organization lately. Why follow slavishly the political correct nonsense? Even if it were true, proving that it is man-made is so hard to believe that it strains all credulity. But, if newspaper people have a death wish, their wishes are coming true.

The global warming lie

Woke up this morning with a bad case! It was either the curry rice I ate last night or the screaming front page headline in your paper “Climate in more trouble than we thought.”

Some simple questions for you: Since I know that you have to pay for AP articles was this opinion piece cheap or free? Did this non scientific article answer the basic journalist questions of “who, what, where, when and how” in order to qualify as a news story? Could this non-scientific opinion piece masquerading as a news story help or hurt your chances of coming out of bankruptcy or finding a buyer for Freedom Communications? If scandals sell papers better than any other journalist subject wouldn’t the latest revelation of scientists cooking global warming data for monetary gain and to satisfy the socialistic agenda of the U.N. be a better and more interesting story?

Let me help you poor souls out before you go out of business and become another statistic on the unemployment rolls. A world renowned scientific organization that supplies global climate change information to the United Nations had their computer server hacked and thousands and thousands of e-mails were extracted which were reprinted on the Internet for everyone to see (which includes you dolts!).

In them was a vast amount of e-mails showing how these so called scientists were cooking global climate change data with the knowledge of fellow scientists in order to make it look as if we were all going to die of heat stroke pretty soon (reference your headline). In the e-mails were also spiteful attempts to silence any opposing views from climate scientists who have taken the uncorrupted data and have come to the conclusion that there has not been any global warming since 2000. As a matter of fact, according to them, there has been a slight cooling of the planet.

All the major newspapers in the country and around the world have already printed articles reference this major scandal except ONE!

Just one more note before I close: Hey, Gazette why don’t you put this on top of the fold, front page written by Joseph Holandes Ubalde (GMA News.TV). According to Seneeta Mukherjee, a country representative to the United Nations Food Population Fund (UNFPA) — whatever the hell that is — “Climate change pushes poor women into prostitution”. Now, that’s a piece of journalistic excellence! Bet Ubalde will rise in the ranks of his news service and that Mukherjee will be promoted in that UNFPA! Sure am glad the U.S. pays over 25 percent of the U.N. budget for information like that.

Hacked off by hack job

I am totally outraged at what I am reading on the Internet concerning the hack job done on the global warming enthusiast’s server. I am an experienced engineer, I know systems, measurement and statistical control of systems and I am totally outraged at what I am reading about the global warming idiots.

For all of the time I have been reading about global warming, nothing has made any sense to me.

And now to read of “scientists” talking in terms of “blips” and covering them up and trends to be covered up, and keeping information from certain people, tells me that idiots have been turned loose and made into leaders of false government processes and learning institutions.

Our government as well as our colleges and universities should be completely ashamed of what has been forced onto our country and the world in the name of global warming.

This is an outrage and shows the stupidity and greed of our institutions presently in control. I thought things were at an epic level of outrage with our economic and financial solutions, now this?

I am 65 years old and have never seen so many things in this country, so totally upside down and backwards and not one thing making any sense at all.
