McDaniels has few complaints for Broncos
Comments 0 | Recommend 0ENGLEWOOD – From a good performance on special teams to another solid performance with no big mistakes from quarterback Kyle Orton, Denver Broncos coach Josh McDaniels had few complaints about his team Monday.
There were some minor things he knows need work – he said there was a 50-play reel of mistakes he’ll show the team and “it’s not all bows and ribbons” - but for the most part Denver’s 23-3 win over Oakland on Sunday was just as impressive when he watched the film of it.
“We had a lot of people play well and execute the plan the way we hoped to,” Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said. “We were competitive in every phase, in every situation.”
The Broncos are 3-0 and in first place in the AFC West, but the schedule gets tougher. Denver plays Dallas this week, then New England and San Diego before the bye week. The good news for the Broncos is they have played better each week, from a tight win over Cincinnati to a good finish against Cleveland to a dominant performance against Oakland.
“I hope we’re improving every week, and I think we are,” McDaniels said.
