THE GAZETTE

ESPN’s “College GameDay” program will broadcast live from the Air Force Academy on Saturday from 8-10 a.m.

The show, which features the crew of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard, will set up on the academy Terrazzo and is open to the public. The academy’s north gate will open at 6 a.m., and shuttle buses will begin taking fans from the front of the Cadet Field House to the Terrazzo starting at 6:30 a.m. Parking is available in the East lot of the Cadet Field House.

The shuttle is the only option for the public to gain admittance to the event.

Those in attendance will be allowed to bring hand-held cameras with lenses that are 4 inches or smaller. No food, drinks or bags of any kind will be allowed. Signs will be permitted, but they must meet approval by ESPN and the academy. The Terrazzo will be cleared immediately following the show.

Harrison school district closer to pay for performance for teachers
Should teacher pay be based on performance?
Yes. Teachers should be rewarded for good work, and poor performers should be weeded out.
No. Pay for performance is just a back-door way of blaming teachers for other problems in the education system.
It depends on what "performance" means. It's good if there's a fair measurement of performance.
Undecided.
