Tigers come back to win NCAA playoff game 12-11 in OT after trailing 9-0

Colorado College's women's lacrosse team staged the biggest comeback in tournament history Saturday, rallying from a 9-0 first-half deficit and advancing to Sunday's regional championship game with a 12-11 NCAA Division III playoff victory Nazareth College in Salisbury, Md.

Senior Robin Harvey's fourth goal of the contest, at 2:43 of sudden-death overtime, capped a spectacular rally that started with Kate Fitzgerald's first of four tallies with just 1:50 left in the opening half.

Down 9-2 at the intermission, CC outscored Nazareth 8-1 in the second half to force overtime. And, after both teams struck once in the first six minutes of OT, the format switched to sudden death and set the stage for Harvey's heroics.

The Tigers will meet host Salisbury University, a 10-7 winner over Washington & Lee University in Saturday's earlier regional game, at 11 a.m. (MDT) Sunday for the right to advance to the national semifinals.

Harrison school district closer to pay for performance for teachers
Should teacher pay be based on performance?
Yes. Teachers should be rewarded for good work, and poor performers should be weeded out.
No. Pay for performance is just a back-door way of blaming teachers for other problems in the education system.
It depends on what "performance" means. It's good if there's a fair measurement of performance.
Undecided.
