Buljan leads TCU to 59-50 win over Air Force in MWC opener

FORT WORTH, Texas - Zvonko Buljan had 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead TCU to a 59-50 victory against Air Force on Wednesday night in the conference opener for both teams.

Kevin Butler and Greg Hill had 12 points each and Ronnie Moss added 10 for the Horned Frogs (8-7, 1-0 Mountain West).

Mike Fitzgerald and Taylor Broekhuis had 11 points each to lead Air Force (8-6, 0-1).

With 4:21 remaining, TCU began an 11-0 run that gave it a game-sealing 55-44 lead. Hill and Butler had a field goal and two free throws apiece during the stretch.
