OAKLAND, Calif. - Allen Iverson scored 39 points, including a late jumper to break a tie, and Carmelo Anthony added 30 to help the Denver Nuggets outrun the Golden State Warriors in a 124-120 victory on Friday night.

The game was the fast-paced, offensive showcase that should be expected when two of the NBA’s top-three scoring teams face off.

Stephen Jackson scored 32 points and Baron Davis added 29 for the Warriors, but they couldn’t quite match the performance from Denver’s dynamic duo and lost for the second time in six games.

With both teams preferring an up-tempo style that features quick shots and plenty of fast breaks, Denver hit the 100-point mark on Linas Kleiza’s 3-pointer with 1:32 remaining in the third quarter.

The Warriors nearly hit the century mark before the fourth quarter as well, settling for 97 after Jackson hit a 3-pointer that beat the third-quarter buzzer.

Iverson hit a pull-up jumper to put Denver back in front for good at 120-118 with 1:12 remaining. Two Anthony free throws made it a four-point game with 53 seconds left.

Davis hit a tough shot at the other end, and Anthony missed as the shot clock expired. But Jackson missed a 3-pointer with 10 seconds remaining, and Marcus Camby hit two free throws.

What's your view?
Good for him. If God has called Haggard to return to ministry, he should obey.
Haggard should stay out of the ministry. He has too much baggage to lead a church.
I don't care what Haggard does, and I'm sick of hearing about him in the news.
Haggard and anyone crazy enough to attend his church deserve each other.
