THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

DENVER • The Rockies placed shortstop Clint Barmes and right fielder Brad Hawpe on the 15-day disabled list on Saturday and recalled outfielder Seth Smith and infielder Ian Stewart from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Smith was inserted into the lineup in right field Saturday. Stewart played third in place of Garrett Atkins, who was a late scratch with a stiff neck.
Things didn't get any better during the loss. Left fielder Matt Holliday suffered a slight strain of his left hamstring while running out a grounder in the ninth. The Rockies said he is day-to-day and will be evaluated today.
Center fielder Willy Taveras also is day-to-day and sat out with a bruised right knee.

What's your view?
Good for him. If God has called Haggard to return to ministry, he should obey.
Haggard should stay out of the ministry. He has too much baggage to lead a church.
I don't care what Haggard does, and I'm sick of hearing about him in the news.
Haggard and anyone crazy enough to attend his church deserve each other.
Haggard has a lot to offer as a pastor. Let's give him a chance.
