THE GAZETTE

Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall pleaded guilty to a lesser charge stemming from his arrest last year on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was given one year of probation.

A Denver County Court clerk said Marshall pled to a lesser charge during a disposition hearing Friday, was found guilty of driving while ability impaired and also received 24 hours of community service.

Marshall was arrested Oct. 22. In December, he entered a plea of not guilty. He had a trial set for Tuesday.

Marshall will play for the first time this season Sunday after serving a one-game suspension for violating the league's conduct policy.

Good for him. If God has called Haggard to return to ministry, he should obey.
Haggard should stay out of the ministry. He has too much baggage to lead a church.
I don't care what Haggard does, and I'm sick of hearing about him in the news.
Haggard and anyone crazy enough to attend his church deserve each other.
