Rockies plan to add humidor to Security Service Field

The Colorado Rockies will attempt to add a humidor to Security Service Field this season.

The pinball scores in games involving the Triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox in recent seasons have made it difficult to develop pitchers and evaluate hitters' numbers.

"We are getting close to doing that," Rockies general manager Dan O'Dowd said. "We are moving forward, we just have to pull everything together. It's not a financial issue. It's the logistics of how it's going to be managed."
