Broncos draft needs: Recievers/tight ends and running backs
Recievers/tight ends
Even with Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal, Brandon Stokley and Jabar Gaffney in the mix, the Broncos wanted to sign Texans restricted free agent David Anderson, although Houston matched the offer.
Josh McDaniels' spread offense uses a lot of receivers. Getting one more quick, young receiver who can play inside or out would make some sense, especially considering Stokley's age and Marshall's off-field troubles.
Tight end, with Daniel Graham starting and Tony Scheffler still on the roster, probably won't be a high priority in the draft.
Receiver won't be a huge priority either, but Denver could pick one to add depth.
Running backs
The Broncos have plenty of running back options, such as Correll Buckhalter, J.J. Arrington, LaMont Jordan and Peyton Hillis, but there are no surefire franchise backs on the roster.
The lack of a Pro Bowl-type back and Denver's apparent desire to go into training camp with a large number of backs means drafting a running back can't be ruled out.
What will probably prevent Denver from selecting a running back would be its needs at other positions and all of the veteran tailback options on the roster.
