No news on report of suspension of Broncos' Marshall
Comments 0 | Recommend 0ENGLEWOOD - Although a report on the NFL's television network and its Web site said Denver Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall will be suspended three games for violating the league's conduct policy, a league spokesman said there was nothing to announce on Monday morning and coach Mike Shanahan wouldn't comment on the report.
The report said Marshall's suspension can be reduced to two games if he undergoes counseling. Shanahan said the team hasn't heard anything from the league.
"I'm not sure," Shanahan said. "When I know I'll let you guys know."
Shanahan wouldn't discuss the NFL Network report.
"If I made comments every time I heard a rumor, I'd be talking to you every day," Shanahan said. "Let's deal with reality. When we know something we'll let you guys know, OK?"
Marshall did not speak with reporters after practice.
