Facing a must-win situation, the Colorado Springs Sky Sox fell flat on the road.
The Sky Sox needed to beat the Tacoma Rainiers on Monday to advance to the Triple-A playoffs. But the Rainiers scored three times in the first inning and never looked back, cruising to an 11-2 victory.
