Wright reviews return touchdown

Air Force sophomore quarterback Tim Jefferson offered an accurate description of punt returner Anthony Wright Jr.
“Every time he gets his hands on the ball, he thinks end zone,” Jefferson said.

Wright’s 88-yard punt return for a touchdown in the first quarter Saturday was the opening act in Air Force’s 35-7 victory over Army at Falcon Stadium.

The touchdown served as the Falcons’ only score in the first half, which was dominated by the Black Knights.

When Wright caught the punt at the 12-yard line, his chances to reach the end zone looked slim.

“He was surrounded by nine or 10 guys,” Air Force safety Chris Thomas said.

But Wright quickly burst past the Army players even though a half-dozen had strong shots at taking him down.
Wright fought through several arm tackles, made a sharp cutback at the 20 and looked downfield.

He saw a field filled with nothing but his teammates.

Wright, the team’s starting cornerback, liked what he saw.

“You know, I just saw all the cavalry ahead of me, and I trusted them to get me to the end zone,” Wright said.

Wright said his “football instincts” told him he didn’t need to worry about Army defenders catching him.

“I knew that I had made enough guys miss that I was in the clear,” he said.

Harrison school district closer to pay for performance for teachers
Should teacher pay be based on performance?
Yes. Teachers should be rewarded for good work, and poor performers should be weeded out.
No. Pay for performance is just a back-door way of blaming teachers for other problems in the education system.
It depends on what "performance" means. It's good if there's a fair measurement of performance.
Undecided.
